I feel entitlement-vibes

As far as I understand, one of the key reasons why the FOSDEM takes place on the first weekend of February is because the ULB campus is free of classes on the week before, as students are on a break after an intensive period of exams. This gives the organizers time to setup everything for the conference. Moving it to spring would be quite difficult, if not impossible (assuming of course it stays organized at the ULB, moving to a different venue would be an entirely different question).
