Breaks screensaver inhibition

Parent article: Updating Firefox is highly recommended

It looks like as of this update (or the previous from the 128 branch) Firefox on Debian no longer inhibits the screensaver when full-screen video is playing.

Does anyone have a fix or workaround?

Huh. I never thought to try *fullscreen* playback…the screenlock still kicks in when on a video call. And it works as expected with `mpv`, so it isn't that my weird setup isn't capable of it either…

Isn't that something for the window manager to handle? On my desktop (using sway) I've just got it configured to inhibit the screensaver whenever the focused window is full-screen...

I presume there's some kind of mechanism that FF uses to tell the WM it would like to inhibit the screensaver, but at the least it's the WM's job to gate that request and ensure it doesn't override the user's intentions for their device...

There's a DPMS protocol that should work. Firefox is supposedly using it, but it doesn't work for me (I use `xlock`). `mpv` blocks screen locking when it is playing, so there's *something* that works at least.
