Parent article: GNOME Foundation opens search for new Executive Director

One wonders what the next die roll will produce. They went from a computer scientist turned manager to an attorney to a few years with no funds and no director and then had a a former Debian project leader for 5 years. Then a "professional shaman" for less than a year.

I'm rather curious what's next in their game.

I'm not really close enough to the foundation to really judge her work, but presumably through having actual experience operating and fundraising for non-profits. Which is something most of the others lacked and is ultimately far more relevant to the job than technical expertise.

Giving only one week to apply, we can expect anything, unless they already have a candidate.
