No one said it. The ban was because he referenced an old SNL comedy sketch that apparently used this word "slut" and he said it was funny (the clip). The sketch is strongly satirical, sending up a pompous current affair show of the era. This is SNL, a home of what Americans call liberal culture.

Why a bunch of coders decided they were competent to assess 1970s American satire is an interesting question. They must have watched it to spot the "offence". Perhaps the SC is not competent for this process, that's my conclusion at the moment. One of them said such discussions are much harder than any PEP they have had to discuss. This could be a hint that they don't have the right mix of abilities, and fair enough: I suppose when people vote for SC members, they are much more concerned with their ability to make good decisions about PEPs.
