I'm a bit surprised seeing no reactions.
I'm considering switching my SO's system from Ubuntu to Debian (like me), but outside fleeing out of Shuttleworth area my objective indeed is robustness, and Vanilla immutability principle, for instance, seems to check efficiently the point.
What am I loosing here, vs a simple Debian installation?

Reading the title the first time around, I thought someone is trying to bring back IBM OS/2. Oh my, do I feel old now.
