Peter de Schrijver RIP

The sad news that Peter de Schrijver has passed away has just reached us. An obituary in Dutch relates that he passed in a Helsinki hospital on July 12. Mind Software Consulting, which he founded, has a message of condolences as well. De Schrijver was a Debian Developer and a Linux kernel contributor; he will be missed.

Peter was one of the earliest users and developers of Linux in Belgium.
Early on, he worked on Linux for PS/2 (MCA, Token Ring), and Apollo.
He was the one who introduced me to Linux, and taught me a lot, for which I am very grateful.

P2, we will miss you!

It's sad to learn it half year later...

We worked with Peter in Maemo/Meego team, where all his talents were dedicated to team success. It's sad to loose him at 54 :(((
