Kernel release status
The current development kernel is 6.10-rc1, released
on May 26. For reasons that have not been spelled out, the codename
for the release has been changed to "Baby Opossum Posse". See the LWN
merge-window summaries (part 1,
part 2) for an overview of the changes
merged for 6.10.
Stable updates: 6.9.2, 6.8.11, 6.6.32, 6.1.92, 5.15.160, 5.10.218, 5.4.277, and 4.19.315 were all released on May 25.
The 6.9.3 and
6.8.12
stable updates are in the review process; they are due at any time.
