Reducing kernel-maintainer burnout

I've been thinking about burn out from the app ecosystem context - projects like GNOME also suffer from burn out. I've been thinking putting together a sustainability and community health team - where we are trying to figure out how we can help with how we can help with working on things that will reduce maintainer load, and create systems that will allow more volunteers to help and feel rewarded for it.

Also Ted Tso looks burned out in that photo. :)
