The European Cyber Resilience Act

Wait, am I reading that some bureaucrats have discovered that the solution to some life-problem is more pervasive use of bureaucracy? Paint me surprised.

++ on people pointing out that:
- Companies will likely skip EU for first releases
- There will be companies whose business model will be CRA compliance
- Some OSS projects will like exclude EU
- This will further push centralization of services (SaaS)

And, yes, this will likely weed out "cheap electronics sold on Amazon", but it'll also kill any startup playing in this space. But what does the EU know about having a vibrant startup ecosystem anyway? :P
