Well, in that press release, he did say this:

“I believe that open source should always be freely available and completely stable. It should never be hidden behind a paywall, nor should it be controlled by a single company,”

...Which does seem a little disingenuous given that the entire raison d'etre of RockyLinux is to precisely track a single company's commercial product.

Do Rocky Linux "public benefit corporation" licensing is intentionally designed to get sold/acquired ?
