Eh. I read that as maybe light disdain and not really what I'd call hostile there. You could argue it comes with an air of superiority / arrogance, but that doesn't read hostile to me. Some of the comments in this thread calling open source "the enemy" certainly do read as hostile, but that particular bit just seems like "clearly, we're superior."

The problem is, as you put it, the attitude that "clearly, we're superior". People who believe they are the master race always turn into a monster, even if they have no intention of doing so.
