I've been following this series since its beginning and was sort of excited when I read that the search was finally over -- I've been eagerly looking for a replacement for my company's proprietary accounting system since forever. Lisp (Scheme, really) is only needed if you want to do custom reports within GnuCash. LWN's usage involves no Lisp code.

Scheme is a wonderful programming language. Definitely a plus from my point of view.

Remember, in matters of taste there is no "correct".
