This wouldn't help because with X11 forwarding, the server runs on the le client, not on the headless be server. The application running on the server is the X11 protocol client, and the place where the display is is the server.

So you'd need to change the default on the le client platforms/distros, which is exactly where the potential security problem is most likely.
