You mean, like in Common Lisp?

Hooray for an integration programming language that combines the abstractions of CL with the system integration of Perl. It would be my dream language.

Pathlib looks good to me

Having just read the doco for pathlib (which I had never heard of until I read these comments), I am very impressed. ISTM that pathlib is just as good for today’s world (everything runs a POSIX-style OS or Windows) as Common Lisp’s Pathnames were for the 80s and 90s ... only, y’know, in OO Python.
