Warsaw needs to look at his own work as well, though. Mailman 3 with Hyperkitty makes mailing list archives so unusable it’s driven people to Sympa.

I want my Pipermail back (plus reporting of Message-ID headers in the archive, like many patched locally, and ideally mbox downloads, ideally also of individual messages).

Pipermail was pretty bad too, but not modern bad though. These days I prefer GNU's list archiver (seems to be MHonArc these days). The Debian archives are OKish, but lack mbox archives and a way to quote a message when clicking the reply links. The public-inbox archiver is even better, but has privacy concerns since it publishes full mboxes including all headers.
