In general, Daniel Pocock is not to be believed. I've had no direct dealings with him myself, but several of my friends have, and he is, at best, an unreliable witness.

Red Hat fails to take WeMakeFedora.org

One example that will surely explain why he has a reputation of being unreliable is the fake FSFE minutes.

In 2019, someone wrote a article for the FSFE clone website he created. In that article, there was a link to a copy of the FSFE General Assembly minutes, and Daniel posted the link on the fake milling list:

https://www.mail-archive.com/discussion@lists.fsfellowshi...

The link on his page is a 18 pages pdf, with a MD5 checksum of 46dccd21c40f15d6f6f6c03ec72648a6
The original link, as posted later in the thread, is a 19 pages pdf with a MD5 checksum of 84207e44a25b060fc2cf8cb759cbbc34

The actual difference is at page 17, where someone replaced the summary of what happened with some fantasy text straight out of a James Bond scenario, where the villain is exposing their whole plan to the secret agent.

Daniel was confronted, he denied, and compared later the meeting and minutes to a gang rape and a acid attack:

More than 2 years later, that's still up. There is no mention of the modifications on the page nor in the PDF.
