Well, Google Chrome is currently identifying as:

1. Mozilla
2. WebKit
3. KHTML
4. Gecko
5. Chrome
6. Safari

I assume all but (5) is for compatibility reasons, each introduced on a different occasion in a different code base (like KHTML -> WebKit -> Chrome).
