After upgrading to Fedora 34, my Brother laser printer was no longer found on the network. After much digging, I found out from an EOL bugzilla bug (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1787898) that I had to add mdns4_minimal to the hosts row in /etc/nsswitch.conf to make discovery work. I have no idea why the argument had disappeared. Things like this have been very frustrating when it comes to printing and Linux.
