Kernel release status

The current development kernel is 5.13-rc1, released on May 9. "This was - as expected - a fairly big merge window, but things seem to have proceeded fairly smoothly. Famous last words." In the end, 14,231 non-merge changesets were pulled into the mainline during the merge window — more than were seen during the entire 5.12 cycle.

Stable updates: 5.12.2, 5.11.19, 5.10.35, 5.4.117, and 4.19.190 were released on May 7, followed by 5.10.36 and 5.4.118 on May 11 and 5.12.3 and 5.11.20 on May 12.

The huge 5.12.4 (677 patches), 5.11.21 (601), 5.10.37 (530), and 5.4.119 (244) updates are in the review process; they are due on May 14.
