For a publicly owned company, sure. $DAYJOB has been privately held since the beginning and recently went 100% ESOP (employee-owned) to avoid the fate of these FOSS-oriented IPO companies which tend to wreck the culture either internally or with the wider community of its projects and to keep the company focused as it has been.

Since you said several times that you're one of the CMake developers, I can guess which company you're working in. Thank you for your work, it helped me a lot when I was working on scientific visualizations!
