Speaking of HTML, I just found out that mutt since 1.13.0 (2019-11-30) can even _send_ HTML (multipart/alternative) e-mails. I've always been more of a “fanatical netiquette guardian” (as the mutt manual says) myself, but when I know all the recipients will use gmail/outlook365 anyway and don't really have the capacity to switch to a proper MUA, I might as well try to adapt and make my messages look nicer.

This is what is looks like: https://twitter.com/Liskni_si/status/1331929691377328129

Mutt releases version 2.0

When I first learned about MIME types, I hand-crafted an HTML email, and sent it to a colleague as a prank (of course elm couldn't display it ;-)
How could I have predicted HTML emails would become a reality and an annoyance soon?...
