Parent article: SCO cuts jobs to reach product profit (News.com)

Quite a strange article.

They say they've cut jobs (but "less than 10%") across the entire software-part of the bussiness, "including sales, marketing and engineering,".

Meanwhile, they've not dropped any of the ridicolous court-cases, and not fired anyone responsible for working on litigation.

Still, they claim that this marks a return to the "core" of the bussiness.

Can someone explain to me how, exactly, firing engineers, marketing and sales from the software-end of things, while continuing full-steam on the litigation end of things represents a "return" to the software-part ?

To me it looks more as if they're admitting what everyone has said for months, that SCO is about nothing more than litigation anymore, and consequently shutting down other parts of the bussiness to focus on litigation alone.
