Getting KDE onto commercial hardware

If KDE lacks resources already, it does not look likely they can successfully invest in such uncertain endeavour as maintaining its own distribution and convince anyone to pay enough for certify they hardware. I believe that future of KDE is more focus on Plasma desktop environment, not less. Maybe if they can work more closely with Suse commercial offering, then it can bring in money, if the need for money is the key issue now. For Suse, it would be important differentiator from Redhat family on desktop, as Redhat focus solely on Gnome now.
