One /64 network for lan, second /64 for DMZ, one for management interfaces, another for guest wifi, next tunneled to my laptop for virtual machines on it, next for VPN on cellphone…
So already six /64 networks utilized before even thinking about anything exotic. And /64 is needed for SLAAC.

Obviously he/she is not going to use 264 addresses, but more than one subnet. An IPv6 subnet cannot easily be smaller than /64, as has been pointed out several times in these comments, and also in Bottomley's original article.
