Linux Mint 20

Linux Mint 20 "Ulyana" has been released in Cinnamon, MATE, and Xfce editions. Linux Mint 20 is based on Ubuntu 20.04 and will be supported until 2025. Release notes are available for Cinnamon, MATE, and Xfce.

Running loud and clear here. Ubuntu with a nicer desktop and without the insidious borg of snap. Mint certainly gets my vote, these days (after spending 3hrs fixing a colleague's machine where snap had run riot and filled up the root partition)...

A lot of peoples are opposing snap. Any idea why Ubuntu is pushing snaps so much?
