Interestingly, at least one writing mistake has sneaked into the article:

I tried to copy-paste the sentence above into both RedPen and LanguageTool demo sites, and they both failed to noticed the missing "be".

Thinking more about it... maybe both tools treated "can" as a noun here, which is syntactically valid?

not sure, but us human English-text improvers should probably have spotted and fixed that :)

In this case, maybe it should have proposed something along the line of "copied text can" :)

A "copied text can" is usually called a "clipboard", I believe :)

Come on! Someone copies "text can" into some kind of "online instance" - what's wrong there?

"a can of copied text" could sound better... ;-)
