The importance of email, from a member of “the newer generation”

Several years back I (old bloke) decided, the only thing I could do to improve knowledge about tools is to actually teach those tools to the so called youngsters. So on several occasions I gave 2-hour introductions to emacs. I have no idea, whether I created "following", but at least I showed to others, why I love this tool. Response from the audience was alway very encouraging.
