Those are, or were, in some cases, legitimate issues, so, no, I don't take you for a hater:)
Looks like you ackd the fix for 3, and, as you said 2 is supposed to be fixed. The docs for journal-remote.conf are a bit sparse, but the lack of solution for unit tab completion is pretty damned annoying. Occasional indexing may not be elegant but the alternative of 1m+ tab completion times shouldn't be acceptable.
