mlterm does not use VTE

The first table of the article says that mlterm uses VTE. This is probably a silly editing mistake, mlterm doesn't use and never used VTE, it implements terminal emulation on its own.

What might have easily confused you, though, is that mlterm ships a library which claims to be API-compatible with VTE.

Is there any particular reason why it doesn't use VTE if the library is VTE API-compatible anyway? Just NIH, or does VTE lack some functionality (and if so, wouldn't it be easier to contribute that to VTE?)
