It's not in the article -- it's implied by the grandparent (well, great-great-grandparent now) comment's suggestion that this article is 'opinionated', thus that there is something sensible and natural and right about this split between /usr and / and that attempting to clean the mess up, or even *writing an article about it*, is somehow wrong.

The *article* is excellent. :)
