Android Microconference Accepted into 2018 LPC

An Android microconference has been added to Linux Plumbers Conference, which will be held November 13-15 in Vancouver, Canada. "Android continues to find interesting new applications and problems to solve, both within and outside the mobile arena.  Mainlining continues to be an area of focus, as do a number of areas of core Android functionality, including the kernel.  Other topics include low memory killer, dynamically-allocated Binder devices, kernel namespaces, EAS, userdata filesystem checkpointing and DT."

Devicetree Microconference Accepted into 2018 LPC

There will be a Devicetree Microconference at the Linux Plumbers Conference, November 13-15 in Vancouver, Canada. "Devicetree provides hardware description for many platforms, such as Linux, U-Boot, BSD, and Zephyr. Devicetree continues to evolve to become more robust and attempt to provide the features desired by the varied users."

Looking forward to the Kernel Summit at LPC 2018

The LPC program committee has a reminder that the Kernel Summit track will be held at LPC and the call for topics is open until September 21. Linux Plumbers Conference will take place November 13-15 in Vancouver, Canada. The invitation-only Maintainers Summit will not be held at LPC, as originally planned, and it has been moved to October 22 in Edinburgh, UK.

Padovan: linuxdev-br: a Linux international conference in Brazil

Gustavo Padovan covers the Linux Developer Conference Brazil which took place August 25-26 in Campinas, Sao Paulo, Brazil. "Be international is one of the main goals of the linuxdev-br, it wants to attract the Linux community from all over the world to integrate with the Brazilian community to share their experiences about many different subjects with the goal to promote more engagement from the Brazilian community to the Open Source world."
