That is my understanding, yes; this only only affects Intel.

Correct, this only affects Intel x86 CPUs. AMD x86 is not affected, nor are non-x86 architectures.

Yes, only Intel is affected, according to the kernel documentation.

The developer of the hack only evaluated Intel, they think AMD does it different so it's probably not vulnerable but I would like to see someone come out and say they tested this hack and it's variants of this technique on AMD before we completely clear it.
