Not what I said.

DSA wants packages from stable or stable-backports, if packages are at all used, AFAICT.

Installing into a user’s ~ was also possible for services. But it still smells fishy.

FusionForge (the software behind Alioth) was usable as packaged in Debian.

Dogfooding is good.
