LogOn Briefings to present International Business Conference and Training 
Program at CeBIT 2004

For immediate release

Kronberg - February 16th, 2004 - LogOn Technology Transfer, German-based 
organizer of European events on Information Technology, is announcing a 
co-operation with Deutsche Messe AG, presenting 
. For the first time LogOn is offering an International 
Conference and Training program on current Software and Hardware topics 
as part of CeBIT's official program of Conventions and Events.

The LogOn Briefings are a vendor-neutral information and training 
platform for the IT professional. During four days of CeBIT (March 20, 
March 22-24) the LogOn Briefings are offering an overview on the most 
relevant technical and business aspects of current Software and Hardware 
technologies.

The events, to be held at the CeBIT Convention Center, will feature a 
program of tutorials for technical IT professionals, as well as a free 
business conference with focus on IT management issues.

Topics of the Briefings include:
- OMG - Integrating the Enterprise 
- Open Source & Linux@work 
- Security - Protect your Business 
- XML - Building Next Generation Internet Applications
- Web Services - Connecting Enterprises
- Java(tm) - Where New and Old Economy Meet
- Storage - Building the Foundation for Managing Tomorrow's Data

A highlight within the educational part is a Live Hacking Session on 
March 22, 10 a.m. (Saal 2), given by Security "guru" Sebastian Schreiber 
of SySS GmbH.

The free conference will present a mix of End-user case studies, Expert 
presentations, Corporate sessions and Panel discussions. The Keynotes

For the first time at CeBIT the LogOn Briefings will offer the OMG's "UML 
Certification Program". IT Professionals who are working with the Unified 
Modeling Language (UML) standardized by OMG, have the chance to become 
official "OMG UML Certified Professional". On Wednesday the 24th of March 
interested candidates can take a 90 minutes test at a mobile test center, 
courtesy of CertMobile, on any of the three levels of certification: 
Fundamental, Intermediate and Advanced. To the first candidates who pass 
the test the OMG's Chairman, Dr. Richard Soley will hand out the 
certificates. The certification program at CeBIT is kindly sponsored by 
Compuware Corporation.
