(Once more, replying to Armijn directly in case he has missed the other messages) Hey Armijn. Any chance you could explain how you think the requirements of the GPL might conflict with the EU directive you referenced, given the text of Annex II.1 and the preceding context?

Also, Article 7, 2nd point, explicitly says that protection of authenticity, technical characteristics, property rights, etc. must be taken into account.
