The "Upspin" global filesystem

Looks nice ! Except I'd have preferred if anyone could run its own keyserver, perhaps by announcing it through a DNS record or something.
But it looks less ad-hoc and specific than e.g. owncloud server federation, and could be implemented by many different server types. All it needs now is some refinement and critical mass.
