If I've got a problem, Slack is my "go to" distro to resolve it.

Okay, a lot of my experience is well old, but Slack had the reputation of booting on pretty much everything. Having had a bout of trouble with systems, when all my liveCDs just hung (apart from Slack) it holds a very important place in my system recovery toolkit.

That said, I don't use it in production. My systems run gentoo, and systems I support run openSUSE. I'm a SuSE user since way back in the 5.x days.

Cheers,
Wol
