LibreOffice has a new Extensions & Templates website
The Document Foundation has announced the new Extensions & Templates website. "LibreOffice Extensions & Templates website offers 304 extensions, with 678 different releases, and 339 templates, with 376 releases. The three most popular extensions are: 'Clipart gallery of danger signs', 'Copy only visible cells' and 'LanguageTool'. The three most popular templates are: 'Personal Budget Template', 'Simple FAX Template' and 'LibreOffice Presentation Templates'. A large number of available resources have been contributed by end users."
QtCon Videos On-line
QtCon took place last September in Berlin, Germany. Videos of all the talks have been released.

CoderCruise Conference Announcement
CoderCruise is a polyglot developer conference taking place on the Carnival Dream cruise ship, leaving from the Port of New Orleans, July 16-23 for a 7 day cruise with stops in Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. The call for papers is open until January 6.LAC2017: Call for Papers / Posters / Workshops / Speed Geeking / Music / Multimedia Installations
The call for participation is open for Linux Audio Conference 2017, which will be held May 18-21 in Saint-Etienne, France. The submission deadline is February 10. "LAC2017 invites submissions of papers, posters and workshops addressing all areas of audio processing based on Linux and open source software. All submissions and presentations are in English. Submissions can focus on technical, artistic or scientific issues and can target developers or users."

LibrePlanet 2017 will return to MIT thanks to SIPB
The Free Software Foundation has announced that the annual free software conference LibrePlanet will return to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) March 25-26. "This is the fourth year the FSF will partner with MIT's Student Information Processing Board (SIPB) to bring this two-day celebration of free software and software freedom to Cambridge, MA. Registration for LibrePlanet is now open, and admission is gratis for FSF members and students."
