A set of stable kernels
The 4.8.2,
4.7.8, and
4.4.25 stable kernels have been released.
Each contains the usual set of important fixes.

Still waiting for upstream applying this patch https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/9318649/ for some modern laptops on later 4.8.x. Without it, my laptop, an ASUS X550Z, will lack hotkeys functions.
