nye, your Nexus 7 clearly supports USB On-The-Go ("OTG" for short). I own just one single Android device, and it supports OTG as well.

Jake Edge claims in the article that Android kernels tend not to support OTG. I don't know whether or not his claim is correct. But I do suspect that the majority of Android devices sold in the past few years do support OTG.
