Elasticsearch 2.0.0 is available

Elasticsearch version 2.0.0 has been released. Based on Lucene 5.2.1, the update adds support for configurable compression on storage, merges the "query" and "filter" APIs into a single interface, and allows aggregation operations (such as moving-average calculations) to be chained together. Also noteworthy is that the new release runs under the Java Security Manager, which should provide additional protection against security exploits.
