Look at the dates... It was implemented, but the bug didn't get closed, and the implementation is buggy.

What bugs do you see in the implementation of smbc_notify? Bug 11413 is something different: It is about the easy and transparent usability of libsmbclient in a multi-threaded environment.

The bug was marked "status: RESOLVED FIXED" before you posted your second comment--I know, because I went to look right after you posted your first comment. It's still marked that way. I'm not sure how that differs from being closed. And if the implementation is buggy, why isn't there a bug report about it? Or if there is one, why didn't you link to it? Linking to a bug marked resolved/fixed doesn't tell us _anything_ useful.

I mean, seriously, you're two posts into this thread, and I still have nothing but vague guesses as to what you're talking about. If you're trying to communicate, you're not exactly succeeding.

It's been silently fixed. The bug got marked as fixed after I posted my first comment. As for the second comment, conjugation in the past, might want to learn it. (I mean, you're slinging barbs, thought I might as well)
