DigiNotar is already blocked completely. ANSSI only had their intermediate certificate blocked, and it sounds like the same will happen to CNNIC; both of those need the top-level CA blacklisted. Comodo has done something similar, but unfortunately there are too many sites relying on Comodo to blacklist it without the cooperation of the major browser vendors.

Seems that removal is on the table[1] with some chance of an easier recovery.
