Reading this post should like someone with so much dislike for a free and open source company is blinded by his/her own belief and deliberate ignorance.

guess you could also put some light on how decision were made to create systemd and to switch Fedora and then RHEL7 to systemd? Was it just LP stand up and told 'upstart has a lot of stupid limitations, I did systemd let's use it'? Or something else? Could you please - very interesting =)"

mjg59 (Matthew Garrett) puts the information about which is publicly available. https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/systemd

Mezcalero (Lennard Poettering) posted his rational about systemd and upstart shortcoming on his blog four years ago. http://0pointer.de/blog/projects/systemd.html

Your homework is to educate yourself and come back posting well informed. Remember this is LWN where majority of false arguments failed against well informed posters.

No idea why you think I hate the company, even if I explicitly said an opposite. Your answer is rather strange for me, as I didn't made false statements in the hope that there is a lot of badly informed posters. I just expressed an ideas in hope to discuss it and find if that it right or wrong. Never saw anyone who said only truth all the time...
