And this shows why 'stable' is not the same thing as 'supported' or 'dependable'. A supported distribution of youtube-dl, if such a thing were to exist, would need regular updates to keep it working. There is this special biologist word we use for 'stable'. It is 'dead'. -- Jack Cohen
