Poettering: Revisiting how we put together Linux systems

This is slightly tangential, but maintaining a package which provides a statically linked copy of Qt I am painfully aware of how badly it integrates visually with Qt applications provided by the distribution. If various run-times will be present on the system which each provide their own GUI libraries this is something which would be good to solved.
