no one uses them, if they did, search engines would ignore them

but addresses are already trivially extractable by modern search engines and is better encoded directly in html5...address info isn't the expected use-case. the expected use-case is ontological (i.e., an abstract). in those cases, search engines once again win because they have a full view of the graph of data, you don't.
