I don't expect Red Hat to "officially" comment on every misguided or malicious post out there. I expect people to use common sense and be hyped by such FUD.

For starters, one should refer to https://www.centos.org/legal/trademarks/ and if there is still any need for further clarifications, post on the appropriate mailing lists.

BTW, is the short term rise in visitor traffic really worth it? Where's the dignity in doing this "blog" stunts?

"...and be hyped..." -> "...and not be hyped..."

Hm. Freud would probably say that I actually expect people to be hyped... :)

Well, you could say that someone trying to create a hype about some bogus RH/CentOS issue succeeded at least in creating a hype about a potential hype, and so on and so forth. But this leads into a paradoxical situation and I really don't feel like complicating things too much.

Instead, I would categorize this simply as "being slightly disgusted by the bottom feeders". Hyped is a overhyped word anyway.
