Flock Conference

The next Fedora Flock conference will be held August 6-9 in Prague, Czech Republic. "Flock was held last year for the first time in Charleston, SC, as a combined event replacing the former North America and Europe FUDCons. Unlike those barcamp-style events, Flock is a planned conference with talk submissions voted on by the Fedora community. It will alternate between North America and Europe each year." The call for proposals is open until April 3.

PyWeek 18 - The Python Game Programming Challenge

PyWeek will take place May 11-18. Pyweek "invites entrants to write a game in one week from scratch either as an individual or in a team" Entries must be developed in Python. Pre-registration will open April 11.

FUDCon APAC 2014

FUDCon, the Fedora Users and Developers Conference, will be held May 23-25 in Beijing, China. "It will be the first premier event in Fedora.next phase, spreading innovative ideas and helping make Fedora better than ever. FUDCon is a combination of sessions, talks, workshops, and hackfests in which contributors work on specific initiatives."

AdaCamp Portland

Applications are open for AdaCamp, June 21-22 in Portland, Oregon. "AdaCamp is a conference dedicated to increasing women's participation in open technology and culture: open source software, Wikipedia-related projects, open data, open geo, library technology, fan fiction, remix culture, and more. AdaCamp brings women together to build community, share skills, discuss problems with open tech/culture communities that affect women, and find ways to address them."
