There's a reason DTrace has stability attributes. Anything you don't want to guarantee will still be present can just be declared unstable: then it won't be visible by default and can go away at any time. (Absolutely everything fbt provides would be an example of such, while the syscall provider's probes would be declared stable, by definition.)
